Taking Kuoni out of the ordinary.

Here’s something new that we’re really delighted to be sharing with you. Our latest campaign for Kuoni, the luxury travel specialists. We’ve created their new turn of year campaign which highlights their wide range of holiday destinations.

Kuoni are well-known for their Maldives holidays, but their portfolio encapsulates destinations and experiences in whole host of different places from long haul beach destinations to African safaris and cruise holidays too.

Their range and fantastic and the comprehensive service they provide sets Kuoni apart. We developed a campaign based around ‘Travel Out of the Ordinary’ to highlight this.

So we wanted to take viewers on a journey out of the ordinary. Director Luke Losey from Bare Films took our script to a place of magical realism which would introduce the viewer to the Kuoni range.

The ad features a swimmer starting her journey from an island in the Maldives through beautiful landscapes including an Italian piazza, Africa savannah and a Balinese pagoda, showing Kuoni’s range of stunning holidays in a way that fuels our audience’s imaginations.

With post production from Big Buoy, a diverse and unique range of creative techniques involving still photography, moving pictures, parallax layering and 2D images were transformed into 3D films.

The surreal imagery is heightened by a memorable original soundtrack by Paul Hartnoll from electronic act Orbital.

The highest budget turn-of-year campaign in Kuoni’s history, we’ll all be enjoying our Christmas, watching the ad during its prime-slot TV launch on Christmas Day.

As well as appearing on television, the campaign will also run across digital, video on demand, print, social media and in all Kuoni’s 57 stores and John Lewis concessions throughout the UK.
