Manchester Airport is more than just a place for visitors to wait before jetting away. They have a wide range of products and services including airport parking, Escape Lounges and retail outlets.
Manchester Airport Group knew visitors to their website were interested in what the airport had to offer, but the space didn’t allow them to communicate the benefits in full to potential travellers.
The airport was also experiencing drop-off from their existing e-CRM, making it even more difficult to reach out to their customers.
Our brief was to re-engage and inform these potential customers.
We took a wide view on how customers might want to engage with Manchester Airport Group.
We felt that getting the best inspiration and deals is just as much a part of travel planning, as the actual experience.
So we created Depart Plus – an online e-zine that every two months delivered the best of the airport experience.
The e-zine featured travel inspiration, fashion, beauty, food and tech available at the airport, behind-the-scenes gossip, advice for inbound travellers visiting Manchester, competitions, exclusive discounts and offers on parking, lounges and eateries.
As many visitors were on the move, Depart Plus was fully optimised for mobile, built in HTML5 to work across multiple platforms and devices.
